Environmental management systems (EMS), such as ISO14001, are widely recognised as a way of demonstrating commitment to environmental sustainability, reducing costs and dealing with environmental impacts. To bring lasting and positive change an EMS needs to be integrated into existing systems and day-to-day activities. We provide hands-on support and experience to ensure that this is the case. The result is an organisation equipped to tackle key environmental issues through a cost effective EMS. The level of support offered will depend upon the current level of commitment, existing awareness, motivation for improvement and experience.
training and engagement
Getting to grips with sustainable development ideas and practical applications can seem daunting. We deliver clear, interactive training sessions that help individuals and organisations explore how they can put theory into practice. Sessions cover a wide range of topics from ‘getting to grips with sustainability’ to specific topics such as climate change and good homes. A key feature of the service is to fully understand the business context, the culture and the target audience of each organisation, so we can tailor the training to the right level, using appropriate examples, legislation, case studies, etc.
